Yesterday was a bittersweet day as me and my girlfriends had brunch to say farewell to one of our best friends who is moving to California. We dressed up derby style, drank too many mimosas and ate a ton of amazing food at Sundy House {they have unlimited mimosas, bloody mary’s & buffet for like $50!}. We closed down the restaurant, had a good cry through our mimosa-filled eyes and celebrated new beginnings and the end of an era. It is so sad when a friend moves away, but it is also a good time to put your life in perspective and evaluate what you learned from that person and how they helped you grow. I truly believe every person comes into our lives for a purpose and you take something away from everyone you come in contact with. So before I start crying again, the happy part of yesterday is that I got to wear my Missoni for Target floppy hat that sold out, but I found it available on Amazon for $41!
