+ Clarisonic Mia: I got the Clarisonic from my parents for Christmas and I love it! I use it in the shower every night, but instead of the face wash it comes with I use Biore Unclogging Scrub. I have noticed a difference in my skin in two weeks just by using the Clarisonic combined with the scrub.
+Biore Unclogging Scrub [recommended by Shahs of Sunset Persian Barbie, Lilly Ghalichi]: This face wash isn’t too harsh [not like St.Ives Apricot Scrub] but it gets your skin clean and provides a nice tingle to the face after you have washed it off. Used with my Clarisonic I can tell a difference in my blackheads and fine lines.
+ Benefit Porefessional: An amazing primer you can wear under or on top of your foundation, BB cream or a clean face. When you put it on you can actually see your pores disappear. I am not joking, this shit is legit. There is no color to the product, it goes on clear, but it literally covers up your pores…this is one of those products you have to see to believe. Go try it on at Sephora…
+ VS Lip Gloss in Blush: Victoria’s Secret has a ton of makeup on sale in stores for the Semi Annual Sale where I picked up this lip gloss on a whim. I surprisingly love it! It is a pale pink that looks great over a lipstick [sometimes I combine it with the Baby Lips] or alone. It feels natural on the lips, not sticky and provides a nice pink color. This is not available on their website, but check their stores.
- Maybelline Baby Lips in Cherry Me: I got this in my Christmas stocking and use it everyday because it is in my purse, not because I love it. It is much brighter of a color than I would normally wear but it does the job for when you need a pop to the lip. It doesn’t stay on the lips long but it does seem to moisturize them pretty well.
- Revlon PhotoReady Compact Makeup: I picked this up on discount for $3 at CVS thinking it was a powder only to find when I got home it is a liquid powder/foundation that comes with a sponge. For touchups and to take away my oily-ness this does the job, keeping it in the purse.
x Benefit Erase Paste: After watching WAY too many Youtube makeup tutorials I thought this salmon color [medium] concealer/highlighter would change my life. Not the case. It is on par with a drugstore concealer but it retails for $30. Maybe it is my skin tone [I am very pale] or the fact that I need something heavier, but either way – Return.
x Benefit Hoola Bronzer: After reading about this on so many makeup blogs I made the $28 purchase. The plus is that this bronzer is very matte so no shimmer making you look Jersey Shore and it comes with a cute fan-like brush to apply perfectly. However, I can achieve the same exact look with my Mark Bronzer in Sun Bronzed, which comes with a similar brush for $10 total. Return.
Wow, I didn’t realize how many beauty products I have acquired this month! Let me know if you have any questions about any of the items I wrote about or want to share your beauty insights with me.

I have been using the Benefit blush/bronzer in “Dallas” for a long time. The first time I bought it I swear I used it for over 2 years before I used it up. The second time I bought it I hit the bottom of the pan within a few months. I’m almost positive they are putting less in the package – but for the same amount. That irks me for some reason. I DO love it though and will probably keep purchasing it again.
I am going to Sephora today so I will have to try Dallas. I compared Hoola to my Mark Bronzer and they honestly look exactly the same so I couldn’t justify spending $30 on it. Thanks for the input! xx, tb
**less product for the same amount of money…..
