Today was the perfect Sunday; I woke up early to go for a run, made a protein pancake and strolled through Marshall’s finding all the little things I have been looking for for months, which all happened to be on clearance. kismet. I scored a set of wine tumbler glasses and salad plates, the cutest polka dot wrapping paper, coffee & dark chocolate, pet trimmers and two sports bras for a total of…$57. Like I said, the perfect Sunday.

In addition to being a budget shopaholic I spend a lot of my spare time working out, reading fitness mags and eating healthy. Me and my best friend constantly share recipes, create our own fitness challenges and take the latest + greatest workout classes {together of course}, which got us thinking; why don’t we create a place to share our health and fitness knowledge and help motivate others?

I don’t typically write about home goods but these sequin letters from twisted twig are just too cute to pass up. After some serious birthday celebrating in Ft.Lauderdale this weekend {yes, my liver hates me right now}, I will be jetting off to Madrid tonight to do actual work. While I am there I will be sure to find time to check out the sights and street fashion, as well as experience some Madrid culture. At the top of my to do list is watch a Real Madrid match, visit the Prado and eat paella while drinking sangria. I doubt they run Real Housewives in Spain so I will have to catch up on my shows when I am back next weekend.

I have been stalking PetFinder for months looking for a yorkie mix to rescue when I came across Animal-Aid, a local shelter in Boca Raton that had recently rescued a group of yorkies from a breeder. On Sunday I stopped in for a visit and fell in love with this little girl who was just too cute to leave behind. I have never seen a fully black yorkie before and am still coming up with her name, but I had to share her first pic with you guys! I hope she enjoys bad reality TV, yoga in the living room and bike rides. She is already obsessed with looking at herself in the mirror so I think we are going to get along just fine…
For the holiday me and the bf are heading to upstate NY to relax, hang out on lake placid & spend time with friends and family. I am only allowed one carry on so packing is going to be an issue, but I guess there is no need for stylish clothing while hanging out in the woods right? I have been cheating on my fashion addiction with home design, which is the only reasoning I have for dreaming of Ikat print pillows lately. I love Ikat on pretty much everything, but I am not paying $500 for an Ikat pillow. To me, that is the definition of crazy (right up there with wearing denim on denim). I’ve been searching for a rug for my living room for the past six months and had just about given up when I stumbled across this find on Amazon.
