Look for Less: Stackable Initial Rings.

As the classic SATC conversation goes within a circle of girlfriends I always agree that I am more of a ‘Carrie’. Mainly because I’m a writer, wear quirky clothing and attempt to be witty (luckily I have no Mr.Big in my life). Like Carrie I also have a penchant for nameplate jewelry and am currently OBSESSED with these initial stacking rings. Catbird has them in gold for $92 a piece but I found an artist on Etsy who creates similar rings for under $50 each. Spell out your initials or an acronym for a fraction of the cost and share your letters below!

Alphabet Rings – $92 (each)

Initial Stacking Rings – $45 (each)

Gold Skull Open Cuff Bracelet on a Budget.

I don’t care if it’s real gold, has diamonds and the skulls sing to you; I am not paying $3,000 for a bangle with two skulls. Not happening. There are a few similar options out there in the hundreds but this Emily Elizabeth open skull bangle is the least expensive option at $65. Happy Tuesday!

Real vs Steal: Kenneth Jay Lane Pyramid Cuff for $13.

In addition to friendship bracelets, bangles are really having a moment right now. So is pyramid jewelry. Combine the two and you get the perfect bracelet that borders on edgy without being too punk rock. But why pay hundreds of dollars for wrist candy when you can drop just $13 and look just as fabulous? Sounds like a no-brainer to me. Happy hump day! xoxo, tb

The Bachelorette Looks for Less Preview: Ashley Hebert’s Teardrop Earrings, Black Strapless Dress & Sheer Blouse from Episode 5.

Tonight’s Bachelorette will be filled with: Ashley obsessing over Bentley, boy bonding and more oversized off-shoulder shirts than we can count. It’s times like this when I miss Emily Maynard; bandage dresses, fake tan, Loubs and all. sigh. Just like the Bachelorette guys I guess we have to settle for now and steal Ashley’s best looks from tonight for less. The upside? At least we don’t have to pretend to be interested in her.

DIY FAB Feature: Friendship Bracelets with Rhinestones, a la Honestly…WTF.

I remember lazy summer camps days at the YMCA when me and my friends would braid friendship bracelets on clipboards to pass the day. If I recall correctly I think I charged the other kids for my creations so I was a bit of a hustler at the age of 9. Well the friendship bracelet has come back in a big way and are selling for more than they are worth. Luckily, the gals over at Honestly…WTF (how great is that name?) came up with an A-mazing tutorial so that you can make you and your friends the hip-again bracelets on a budget.
