I am on the hunt for the perfect black pump [5-6 inch heel] with some edge, maybe some spikes or studs. The spiked Louboutins would be the ultimate splurge but then I would be afraid to wear them outside in fear of scuffing and would only wear them inside my house while drinking champagne and getting ready, which would be a waste of my hard earned money [but sounds pretty fun]. Anyway, my fave flash sale site Hautelook is selling a similar black spiked pump for $40 with a 4 inch heel, available in four other colors and on sale until Monday. Have a great weekend!

Only Victoria Beckham would wear Louboutin knee-high boots to the airport (while dressed to the nines) carrying her baby nonchalantly on her hip. Why don’t you just add David in there holding your hand and just slay us now? sigh. I introduce you to the ‘Vicky’ Suede Louboutin Boot, designed for Victoria’s latest fashion collection, which is currently available on Net-a-Porter UK for well over my annual shoe budget. Luckily, Colin Stuart designed a very similar suede boot that is on sale at Victoria’s Secret. Not quite a Louboutin, but it will do for now.

Because I find Ashley Hebert’s Bachelorette style incredibly boring I thought I would revisit a look from Emily Maynard that everyone was lusting over on The Bachelor. Among the many things on my bucket list (checked off visiting Spain & learning to surf in 2010) one of the feats is to own my very own pair of Louboutin’s one day. Yes, it is a pretty shallow, monetary feat and not one particularly life-fulfilling but it’s my list so I can do what I want. I plan on accomplishing this by magically coming across a pair in a thrift store, not by paying full price for them at Bergdorf’s.
