I am on the hunt for the perfect black pump [5-6 inch heel] with some edge, maybe some spikes or studs. The spiked Louboutins would be the ultimate splurge but then I would be afraid to wear them outside in fear of scuffing and would only wear them inside my house while drinking champagne and getting ready, which would be a waste of my hard earned money [but sounds pretty fun]. The day after Prabal Gurung launched its collection at Target the bestie and I stopped by our local Target on our lunch break to search for the ankle strap pumps we were lusting after. No luck. They had either sold out in one day or were never stocked so we left empty-handed. One week later, I ran into Target for some last minute items for my Hawaii trip and thought I would recheck the shoes. They had the exact style shoe, only in the neon color I wanted and in my size. Lately I have really been loving ankle strap heeled sandals, they make your leg look so sexy and go with every outfit. I wish I had been open minded enough to wear these when I was rocking chunky platforms back in the day! My inspiration today comes from the expensive Nicholas Jasmina Snake Sandals, but a great budget option is the ASOS Hong Kong Heeled Sandal with Metal Trim [I wrote about these in black here]. I am OBSESSED with these sandals. However, instead of spending $80 I might hold out for the Prabal Gurung for Target sandals for only $40. I can wait patiently until they arrive at Target February 10th…can you?
