Even though I shy away from the prepster look there is something about these Miu Miu Gingham Tafetta Slingbacks that shout Carrie Bradshaw to me. If SATC was still on air you better believe she would have worn these before everyone else. Since the reals are sold out and over my budget, I hunted down some gingham look-alikes for only $14. I would give up a lot to own a pair of designer shoes, but then I would be afraid to wear them and it would require me to hire a personal driver so I don’t scuff them, which is why it makes sense that women who own designer shoes and don’t mind scuffing them have a ton of money because they can afford drivers and keep their pumps in new condition. Anyway, the upside of having no money (yes, there is one!) is you can buy a similar looking pair of Valentino pumps for $50 and scuff the crap out of them with no regret.

Penny Loves Kenny Women’s Jeno Platform Pump – $42

I have been searching for a pair of nude platform pumps with an ankle strap for a few months but the best options are always wayyyy out of my budget. Until I came across these Steve Madden steals for only $109, which look EXACTLY like the celeb Giuseppe Zanotti faces. Who said a girl can’t have it all?!

I have been coveting these Jessica Simpson Cheetah pumps for the past few months at Macy’s and recently noticed them at Marshall’s for only $40, but in a different color. In my world leopard is a neutral. While I admit, it can look tacky stretched across the cast of Jersey Shore it can also look chic when used in moderation.
