Rebecca Minkoff Embrace Mini Satchel a la Lauren Conrad.

Satchels are all the rage but I prefer a mini to a large satchel you have to lug around everywhere. Check out this Rebecca Minkoff mini satchel worn by LC that has a chain strap so you can remain hands free while sipping cocktails and dancing. Instead of dropping $400 for a mini, get LC’s look for $80 and have a happy Friday! Don’t forget to enter to win a clover necklace, giveaway ends in one week!

Lauren Conrad’s Cut Out Swimsuit from Life & Style Magazine for $14.

I miss The Hills and the laid-back style all of the girls sported (especially Audrina). The Housewives seem to be on sequin overload this year and Ashley isn’t giving me much to work with on The Bachelorette so I am left to revisit some oldies. Remember when Lauren Conrad wore this cut out swimsuit for Life & Style Magazine? Well I never forgot it and today found a very similar look for less on ASOS. Happy Thursday! xoxo, tb

The Real & Steal: Kristin Cavallari’s Pink ShoeDazzle Wedges for $40 & White Beaded Dress.

Because I stalk both Kristin Cavallari (@KristinCav) and her makeup artist Carlene K (@carlenekmakeup) on Twitter, I knew where to get Kristin’s cute pink wedges before receiving the first email asking for them. Kristin teamed up with Shoedazzle to design the shoe (a.k.a the “Bardot”) with 100% of the proceeds benefiting One Kid, One World. The “Bardot” will be available on Monday, May 16 for only $40.

P.S. If you want Kristin’s tan pick up some of CarleneK’s Shine Body Bronzer for just $24.99. I get my order next week so I will make sure to post about it!

DIY Hair Tutorial Roundup: Beachy Wave Edition a la Lauren Conrad, Michelle Money & Cupcakes and Cashmere.

Did you always wonder how the girls on The Bachelor & The Hills got those natural-looking beachy waves they sported every day? Well don’t hate them just yet because they didn’t wake up looking like that or have hair dressers at their beck and call. Instead, they had their hair dressers teach them how to do it themselves (DIT) and made tutorial videos to pass along their hair knowledge. After watching more hair tutorials than I like to admit, I chose my top 3 to help you achieve the beachy wave look for less.

Be a Cold Stone Fox in Lace Shorts a la Kristin Cavallari.

For me, the void from The Hills has been filled with the Housewives but I still keep up with KC and Audrina’s street style. I am loving the look of lace shorts on Kristin, but refuse to pay $220 for 10 inches of lace fabric. While I search for a DIY option of these you can get the look for less than $40 in ivory or black.

Get the DIY option at swellmayde!

Put Some Love in Your Punch with a Two Finger Ring for Less.

I never thought I would say this, but I miss The Hills. The drama, the fashion you all stalked like a religion and the shear craziness of Speidi, it seems like just yesterday I had it on my DVR (le sigh). Even though the show ended, the trends still endure…like these 2 finger rings that refuse to go out of style. I think it is hilarious that She-Pratt chose a ring that claims Faith, but lets keep it honest and in budget by opting for a different sentiment. Because LOVE shouldn’t cost a thing (yes, I am quoting J Lo).

Need a LFL? Let me know about it!

Lauren Conrad’s White Notte by Marchesa Lace Sheath Dress for Less.

Along with my love for sequins, I have a minor obsession with lace. When I was younger I would try to make my underwear pass as outerwear (much to the dismay of my mom and most of my teachers). After spending months being grounded and time in detention, I learned that the key to pulling off lace is what you wear underneath it. For example, LC wore this lace Marchesa dress to her latest book signing and managed to look tres chic, not like a Jersey Shore cast member. Unfortunately, it costs a lot to look that good, but lucky for you I am up to date on my lace research and found similar steals.

The Hills After Show Style Wrap Up: Mini Dresses & Long Tresses.

On the finale of The Hills, we find out that the show is fake (shocker!). It is truly the end of an era. But don’t worry, MTV will quickly replace this franchise with another one full of poor acting, fake plot lines and vapid characters (that’s right, Jersey Shore starts in a few weeks! *fist pump*). While I won’t miss anyone from this awful excuse of a show, I will miss some of their fashion…the girls brought out the big guns to the After Show and even LC came back to join in on the fun, wearing a seriously cute mini dress. Steal the girl’s style for less one last time.
