I am on the hunt for the perfect black pump [5-6 inch heel] with some edge, maybe some spikes or studs. The spiked Louboutins would be the ultimate splurge but then I would be afraid to wear them outside in fear of scuffing and would only wear them inside my house while drinking champagne and getting ready, which would be a waste of my hard earned money [but sounds pretty fun]. The day after Prabal Gurung launched its collection at Target the bestie and I stopped by our local Target on our lunch break to search for the ankle strap pumps we were lusting after. No luck. They had either sold out in one day or were never stocked so we left empty-handed. One week later, I ran into Target for some last minute items for my Hawaii trip and thought I would recheck the shoes. They had the exact style shoe, only in the neon color I wanted and in my size. Before leaving for Hawaii I made sure to hit up my local Plato’s Closet and Target to stock up on beachy items at budgetista prices. Everything pictured was purchased for under $20, from my sunnies to my coverups. Our Plato’s Closet gets killer items from a local boutique in Boca, which is how I was able to stock up on brands like Millau and Show Me Your Mumu [brand new with tags might I add!] for such steals.
